No Girlfriends knows how to spread the love! With their new release of Sheets, the band shows all of us that relationships can be a little rock-y(Yeah, pun intended.)

Los Angeles-based rock band No Girlfriends is no stranger to sex, love, and rock ‘n roll. With the release of their new music video for their upcoming EP, it’s never been more apparent. Directed by Jaz Moore, the gender-bending video playfully pokes fun at the ups-and-downs of relationships(We’ve all had those, right?).

No Girlfriend? No problem. No Girlfriends is an outstanding up and coming rock band busting out of LA’s competitive music scene. Made up entirely of lesbians, including a set of Cali-grown twins, No Girlfriends pumps addictive alt-rock tunes, angst anthems, and deliciously romantic ballads with equal aplomb. Although the band hasn’t officially released an album, the EP does a stellar job of showcasing their musical talent. Essentially, it’s rock ‘n’ roll that’ll make you want to dance your heart out.  It left me with the overall impression that these grrrls must sound amazing at live shows. “Pull One Over” is a personal favorite of mine. It’s the sort of song that I’d blast in my car to unwind from work. With catchy guitar riffs and lyrics like “And she says and she says–oh I don’t care what you say, you’re not the boss of me no more…” Can you blame a girl?
